Our Services
The Principal Consultant is certified in Lean Six Sigma and AI Product Management. He has experience in optimizing operational workflows, and building a predictive bed balancing model for a major hospital in Ontario.
Healthcare providers and organizations across Canada are operating under increasing financial pressures. Publicly funded providers are challenged to meet increasing service demand and by costs of care that are outpacing the increase in funding. Similarly, private sector healthcare organizations are challenged with balancing investments between core service offerings and developing new, innovative services.
We work with the operational teams across the corporate service areas to identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation (i.e., time and effort). By leveraging lean methodologies, we help identify improvement areas that are categorized for optimization as - operational improvement, digitization, and automation.
The Principal Consultant works directly with your leadership across operational and digital teams to define the value - time and costs saved, digital tool adoption, AI literacy, carbon footprint reduction, and corporate service specific operational metrics. We then work with your teams to implement these opportunities for value realization.
AI-driven Operational Optimization
The Principal Consultant led the Corporate Strategy function for a major seniors' care provider in Canada and has experience developing strategy and building performance and management systems for organizations across the health system, including governments, hospitals, home care providers, and private healthcare enterprises.
We recognize that healthcare organizations are responding to the evolving needs of the population they serve and a rapidly changing health ecosystem. To ensure they can deliver on their mandate while maintaining a long-term, sustainable business model, we take a business architecture and foresight-driven approach to guide strategy design.
Our process draws on stakeholder input, leading practice research, health system data, and facilitated engagements to develop practical, ambitious strategic plans.

The Principal Consultanthas a depth of experience guiding the development of integrated care networks (i.e., Ontario Health Teams - OHTs) across the province. He has worked with providers to help them navigate the changes resulting from the health system transformation, including the design of new care models and supporting structures. Additionally, his experience as a Global Health Executive at one of the Big 4 consulting firms allows him to bring insights and leading practices from health systems around the world.
We are at an inflection point in health system transformation. Organizations can either maintain the status quo or take decisive action to redesign how they deliver programs and services for their growing and evolving needs of the patient population.
We partner with healthcare organizations to redesign care models using a data-driven, human-centred approach. A guiding tenet of this approach is to view the care model as an ecosystem that delivers on the key needs of the patient.
Through this approach, we co-design the patient journey and clinical / operational workflows, identify core capabilities for execution (including AI, data, technology, partnerships, workforce), support implementation, evaluate the impact, and establish processes to support scale.

The Principal Consultant has acted as an advisor on multiple digital transformation projects, led and managed large-scale implementations (including a provincial health command centre), and guided many clients to design and implement their transformation journey. He also led the national activation of the global digital transformation framework for one of the Big 4 consulting firms. He combines his healthcare consulting and public sector provider experience to deliver informed and grounded advisory support for his clients.
Digital transformation is not just the implementation of technology solutions to deliver incremental value. It is the digital reinvention of core business operations - the way your organization interacts with and delivers services and/or products to patients, conducts workforce planning and financial management, manages its data and technology infrastructure, etc.
The digital transformation of an organization is a journey that needs to be embedded in and linked with the strategy. This creates alignment for execution and budgetary decisions.
We support healthcare organizations to:

Sustainability Planning
Board Engagement
The world is changing at a rapid pace, and planetary health is a key focus area for all industries at the organizational and government levels. Some healthcare government agencies have developed specific sustainability teams and programs to build and deploy green practices.
The health sector needs to implement green practices that reduce its carbon footprint while enabling financial sustainability through cost savings (e.g., energy, operations, and medical supplies).
We will work with your organization's Facilities & Redevelopment team to identify key opportunities to implement green practices, enabling cost savings that can be reinvested to advance strategic priorities.
We facilitate key Board meetings, such as AGMs, to guide discussions for the organization and support the Management team to engage their Board effectively.
We work with the CEO, Board Chair and other team members to first define the outcomes, and use that as the foundation to co-design the agenda, facilitate the Board session, and provide summary materials.
